Charming interior with a delightful Yorkshire atmosphere, the decor provides a warm and inviting feel. The outdoor terrace in the suite offers a peaceful escape, perfect for a relaxing morning coffee when the weather cooperates.
Though the Classic Double Room had nice furnishings, it felt cramped, especially the bathroom. Mornings got off to a rough start with obnoxiously loud drain clearing that could disrupt any chance of a lie-in. Shower pressure was lackluster, which is not uncommon in isolated spots like this. table arrangements in the dining room were tight, making dining intimate but perhaps a little too cozy when the neighboring table was not as discreet.

Hidden gem with awesome vibes
What a fab place! The food was exceptional, especially the meals in the bar area—couldn't get enough. Staff were super friendly, always ready to help. The only bummer was that reception was sometimes empty when you needed it. we had a great time relaxing in our cozy room after long days out and about.

The food was a proper treat! Breakfast was a feast with Emma's lemon curd stealing the show, and dinner? Sublime, with that plum and Japanese doughnut dessert knocking our socks off! Plus, the staff were sheer gems.
Had a whiff of sewage on occasion—bit off-putting, innit? We also missed the soap and shampoo at first, but they sorted it quick as a flash when we asked!

An unforgettable dining and sleeping experience
I had an incredible stay in a cozy room with a perfectly comfortable bed, and the warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. The dinner was truly remarkable, especially the creative tasting menu paired with fabulous local wines. Breakfast was a highlight too, featuring freshly cooked dishes using high-quality local ingredients that left me wanting more. Although I found the prices a bit on the high side, the quality of the food and service justifies the expenditure.

The Shibden Mill Inn really charmed me! I loved walking into the cozy atmosphere, especially with classical music playing in the background. The small double room felt warm and inviting, and the bed was super comfy. Dinner in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. The ham hock terrine and pressed mackerel impressed me, and the short-rib beef main was outstanding. I can't forget to mention the breakfast. It was simply the best I've ever had, with quality ingredients that made my day start off right. I did have a bit of trouble with a noisy guest outside my window one night, which kept me up a little. That being said, the staff handled it well, showing great empathy without any hesitation. The narrow access lane to the inn could also use better signage to make it easier to find, especially for new visitors. my experience was quite delightful, with only minor hiccups.

would happily go back again
The suite was gorgeous with a private patio surrounded by flowers. The food was simply amazing – especially loved the homemade desserts. Breakfast had an incredible Full Yorkshire with local sausage. The room featured charming personal touches, including a retro telephone and homemade cookies, creating a special atmosphere. Breakfast was exceptional, with a delightful selection of cooked eggs, all served in a lovely room that enhanced the experience. the bar service was disappointing. drinks took too long to arrive, and when they did, the gin lacked proper accompaniments, while the coffee tasted stale and was poorly presented. it's a lovely spot let down by some service inconsistencies.

the shibden mill inn is an amazin place for a cozy getaway! we stayed in room 14, the suite, and it was truely beautiful, especially the garden patio with all the pretty flowers. the food was delish in the restaurant, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, they made us feel so welcomed. breakfast was also really good with lots of options! loved chillin in the beer garden too.
the only thing was that the room could've been a bit bigger. also, it was hard to find the entrance because it's tucked away.
